The addition of fluoride helps to minimize the risk of secondary caries and cavities.
Kerr Dental knows that you have a choice when it comes to core buildup dental systems and is proud to feature the CoreRestore2 complete system. This product is a complete resin core system that can be used for either a composite post or core build up, and creates a solid, long lasting core. This product features several properties that improve patient safety and satisfaction as well. It comes with a syringe delivery system, which minimizes the risk of cross-contamination. This core build up dental system also contains fluoride, helping to minimize the risk of secondary caries and cavities. Finally, there is a short curing time, which depends on the size of the restoration. For small buildups, curing time is only around three minutes; larger buildups may require up to eight minutes to cure. Preparing the tooth is simple. After removing all caries, place the post or pin, and add matrix if needed. After the bonding agent has been applied, the resin should be mixed and applied directly onto the tooth, or with the use of the CoreForms. CoreForms are included in the CoreRestore2 system and are used to help create the basic core shape. They also eliminate the need to shape and grind the restoration. The forms come in a variety of shapes and sizes, so you can customize the product for each patient. Simply load the mixed material into the form and place onto the prepared tooth. The core material will cure after only six minutes, or you can light-cure the tooth to shorten the time to a brief 20 seconds. After curing, use a bur or instrument to split and remove the CoreForm from the restored tooth. When evaluating dental core buildup solutions, consider the CoreRestore2 product. With increased filler loading and great mechanical properties, it will please both your patients and your staff.
