Whether performing precision microsurgery, troughing around a post or simply agitating sodium hypochlorite within the canal, Kerr Endodontics can satisfy your endodontic ultrasonic needs. Originally designed by Dr. Gary Carr, the Kerr Endodontics ultrasonic line has what you need to get the job done. Kerr carries a large variety of ultrasonic tips, including SJ Tips for fine preparations, diamond coated microsurgical tips, and a wide range of specialty tips so that we can meet all of your ultrasonic endodontic needs.
The “4” Series contains multiple power levels that have been specially designed to open narrow and calcified channels. This series of tips also comes several shapes and sizes, including straight-line tips and diamond-coated tips. If you need an endodontic tip that is longer than the “4” series, our Spreader Tips are longer and can be used to open a calcified channel, trough within the canal, or even to remove files that are stuck within the canal. These powerful tips should only be used at a low power setting. For clinicians specializing in ultrasonic endodontics, our surgical tips come in three different sets (CT, UT, SJ) that can be used for all of your surgical needs. Each kit comes with an Initiating, Right, and Left Tip. The CT line also comes in different sizes; the “1” tip should be used to begin the procedure, and then follow with either the “2” tip or the “3” tip, depending on the patient and the position of the tooth. They each provide good to excellent visibility of the working site, and included a water port. Our MiniEndo Piezoelectronic Ultrasonic Unit is the only one of its kind, using a unique design controlled by microprocessors. Its tip moves in a linear motion and is able to adjust in order to provide the exact amount of power needed. Despite it’s compact size, this ultrasonic endo device features unprecedented power and durability, and is able to accept all standard S-type tips. You can be confident that Kerr Dental has everything you need for your practice, including the high-quality endodontic ultrasonic instruments and devices you need to run smoothly and efficiently.
