Dr. Lavigne is a native of Rhode Island and a graduate of LaSalle Academy in Providence. After finishing high school she received degrees in Biology and Theology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she graduated magna cum laude. She earned her doctorate from the University of Connecticut where she graduated top of her class.
Dr. Lavigne is a visiting faculty member and content contributor at Spear Education in Scottsdale Arizona, where she mentors other dentists in their continuing education journey. She has also published articles in peer-reviewed journals on esthetic dentistry, dental photography, and dental materials, and lectures internationally.
In addition to practicing dentistry and teaching, Dr. Lavigne continues to take over 150 hours of continuing education each year. She knows that the industry is constantly changing and evolving, and she not only enjoys being a student but feels responsible for staying ahead of the curve for her patients.
In her spare time Dr. Lavigne can be found with her husband Chris and their mini labradoodle, Lenny. She’s an avid snow-skier and water-skier, a mid-century modern furniture buff, and an interior design enthusiast. She’ll also talk your ear off about Jackson Hole or Maui, her two favorite places to visit.
