These benefits come from the tri-modal filler system which uses 3 distinct filler sizes to increase loading. In addition, the incorporation of PPF (pre-polymerized filler) limits shrinkage and enhances polishability and wear resistance. Premise also builds on the proven success of Point 4 by using the same 0.4 micron barium glass filler, which provides outstanding blending – making restorations hard to detect.

Trimodal technology is comprised of Kerr proprietary PPF filler (see FAQ #1), Point 4 filler, and 0.02 micron filler. The combination of these three (TRImodal) fillers is unique to the industry. The combination of these three fillers creates a platform that consists of an ultra-low shrinkage material at 1.6%. Due to the Point 4 filler, you'll experience the clinically proven polish and durability that made Point 4 famous.
